Hello, I am Bernadette, although most people know me as Bee—hence the little 🐝! After working for over 30 years in the NHS, I am now enjoying life as a stay-at-home dog mum, surrounded by my much-loved dachshunds, and as a Nana to my grandchildren.

Our dachshund journey began in 2017 when we welcomed our first miniature dachshund, Nala, into our family. Nala went on to have one litter of puppies, and our little dachshund family has grown from there. We now have five dachshunds, along with our special dachshund x Basset hound cross, Wilson.

It was actually my own dogs who inspired me to start making snuggle sacks. I wanted to create something soft, cosy, and comforting that they could burrow into and feel safe and snug. I began making them simply for my own dogs, but when I started taking them to craft fairs, I got lots of comments on how lovely they were. Their kind words and encouragement gave me the confidence to think that maybe I could turn this little hobby into something more. That is how my snuggle sack journey began.

Every snuggle sack is handmade with love, care, and plenty of help from my furry family. So with everything crossed, I am hoping my little business continues to grow and that my cosy creations find their way into lots of loving homes.
